PAGE Current Focus Issues

The PAGE Board is currently focused on the issues represented
by the implementation of Chapter 16.

These issues include:

•  Making clear to all that Chapter 16 is part of Special Education.

•  Lobbying for Compliance Monitoring.  See chapter 16.

•  Working on the new Guidelines to accompany Chapter 16.

Encouraging parent advocates to determine if their district has implemented School Board Policy #114 and that their district is including gifted education in their Strategic plan.
